3-star Hotel in London - Central House Hotel-Victoria
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Best wishes!
Now, when all recent celebrations are over and I have some free time to devote to the idea of the present blog, which is still the same: to provide travelers with true and reliable information concerning different London hotels, B&Bs, hostels and any other type of London accommodations.
I’m going to start with 3-star Central House Hotel-Victoria, which I was fortunate to find in London when I was there on my business trip in July, 2007. One of the most important features I consider when choosing a hotel is its location close or within easy reach via underground or any other public transport (not more than 10-15 minutes) of my workplace in London. Central House Hotel-Victoria ideally suited my requirements, and there was a “bonus”: it is centrally located to London’s Major attractions. As I had some free time to spend on sightseeing, this London hotel was very convenient. There were no problems with on-line booking of a single room en suite; breakfast was included, affordable price. Central House Hotel-Victoria turned out to be an attractive building with comfortable roomy lounge on the ground floor and elevator. The staff was very friendly and helpful; I was given a quiet room at the back of the hotel with all that I needed: work desk, bathrobe, telephone, TV, and even tea and coffee machine. The room was quite small but very clean, my bed was comfortable: neither soft, nor rough. Room service was OK, I got fresh towels every day, wake up calls were also available. In the mornings there was a very good selection of food at the breakfast buffet, quite tasty dishes.
On the whole, this inexpensive London hotel left a pleasant impression. I can recommend Central House Hotel-Victoria for both business and leisure travelers.
Good-bye for now.
